Fifty-nine-year-old (59) Makhaya Ndevu is one of the beneficiaries to receive a newly completed house. Ndevu with his family which includes his wife, and two children are staying in a dilapidated mud structure in Masingatha village. He makes a living through garden work in the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This housing project will benefit a total of 100 destitute villagers from Masingatha and Tolofiyeni who were living in dire conditions mainly in dilapidated mud structures and shacks as part of a programme to eradicate mud structures and rescue destitute families from poor living conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 50 houses to be built in each village. To date, 52 houses are already completed and ready for handover.&nbsp; Some of the beneficiaries include the elderly, people living with disabilities and child headed households.
