One of the<br>beneficiaries who will receive a house is Lizzie Samani, 72, who lives in a delipidated<br>shack.<br>Samani\u2019s house forms part of the Alexandria 402 project, which already has 30<br>completed houses. The other project is Alexandria 383 with 44 completed houses. The<br>Department plans to rectify 1 277 units under the Remedial Works Programme across<br>the province during this financial year.<br>The Remedial Works Programme is critical to redressing the quality challenges<br>experienced in old projects.
