The 80m2 size house has been built through a partnership between the Department and a private company, CHS contactor.<\/p>\n<p>The Majiba family became homeless after being evicted in a farm they were staying in. After hearing of her plight, the department mobilized sponsors and resources to ensure that this family gets a proper home. The intervention comes at a time when they are sharing a one roomed shack which was donated by neighbors in the village.<\/p>\n<p>The new house has special features such as 6 rooms, a ramp and walk-way to the VIP toilet, which is more suitable for the family and elderly Majiba who can no longer walk due to old age.<\/p>\n<p>The department is prioritizing the destitute and vulnerable groups this financial year.
