EASTERN CAPE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS PARTNERS WITH PRIVATE DONOR TO BRING RELIEF TO 91-YEAR-OLD ELDERLY WOMAN IN TSOLO
Eastern Cape MEC for Human Settlements, Hon. Siphokazi Lusithi, will be handing over a house to a 91-year-old elderly woman, Nosongile Mabulu in Goqwana, Emngcunubeni in Tsolo on Wednesday, 02 April 2025.
The house was built by a private donor as an intervention to assist the elderly Mabulu, after she was identified by Mhlontlo Local Municipality as one of the destitute families in dire need of decent shelter in Ward 6. Her old mud house was destroyed by heavy rains leaving the family of 8 with the dilapidated mud structure to live in.
The family depends on the woman’s old age pension.
